Kirk is an international performer, director, & creator with over 20 years experience in children’s entertainment. His diverse performing history includes national musical theatre tours (Fiddler on the Roof), Contemporary Dance (Between Movement CDC) and freelance work in the circus arts as a clown, fire performer, and stilt walker. Kirk currently serves as the Artistic Director and Producer of 4PuppetPeople.
Kirk stars as Oscar in the 4PuppetPeople original web series Oscar and Herman PLAY INSIDE! Theatrically, Kirk has performed as Mr.Popper on the first national tour of Mr. Popper's Penguins. He originated the Puppeteer role of 'Mr. Conductor' on thenational tour of Jim Henson's Dinosaur Train Live! under the direction of John Tartaglia, and was the official voice and performer for 'Scooby Doo' on the international tour of Warner Bros. Scooby Doo - Mystery of the Pyramid.
As a NYC resident, Kirk has puppeteered all over New York and surrounding areas, including - Field Station: Dinosaurs, Toy Museum of NY, the Habitat Heroes campaign for Seventh Generation products, and the animals of Reusable the Musical at the Bronx Zoo. Kirk also serves as a Resident Director for
Wildlife Theatre - the educational outreach program with the Wildlife Conservation Society.
Beyond performing, Kirk is a puppet builder, having studied with the Stan Winston School of Character Arts. His work has been featured at such places as Horseman's Hollow - Sleepy Hollow's premier haunted attraction, the New York Aquarium, Matt Zoller Seitz's gritty crime drama/comedy short - Space Rabbit, and countless theatre around the country with his designs for "James and the Giant Peach."
Kirk currently resides in NYC with his collection of Donald Duck Memorabilia. He can often be found having tea and scones while amusing his adorable black cat Salem.
